Emma of Poires Au Chocolat is determined to make perfect hot cross buns. This is her second year tinkering with a recipe, and this time around, she worked on a version that uses homemade candied orange peel and orange syrup to provide a bright, fruity flavor to the buns. Though these are a traditional Good Friday and Easter sweet, Emma provides tips on freezing the baked buns and enjoying them whenever you're in the mood for a sweet, sticky bite.
