How to add an image to a comment

In order to add an image to any BlogHer post (or comment), the image needs to be uploaded and available for viewing online.

If the image is uploaded to a site like Flickr, you can just copy the embed code for the image and paste it into the comment box. It will look something like this:

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/flamingohouse/3958149900/" title="Sassymonkey with pink champagne by smiely, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3452/3958149900_4ab05cab87_m.jpg" width="180" height="240" alt="Sassymonkey with pink champagne" /></a>

If you don't have an embed code, you'll need to type the html for the image yourself. Like this:

<img src="url of the image">

(To find the url of an image, go to an image and run your mouse over it. Right click and select "copy image location". That's what you'll insert between the "" in the img src code.

Remember to only use images that you own, or public domain or have a creative commons setting that indicates the image is free to use.
