I originally started my blog www.fatgirlweightlossmap.com this past April to promote my weight loss coaching services, but I really didn't expect too much out of it, maybe a few readers. Now my blog has over 1100 readers and it's growing, but I have no idea what to do next and that's part of why I'm here. I'd like to learn more about how people are earning an income from blogging and how I can go about doing the same?
One thing I know I need to work on as soon as possible is getting a better blog design. I have a logo for my business and some ideas about the layout, but I'd like to get this done without breaking the bank, a simple yet effective design.
If anyone can recommend any resources or point me to previous posts that have been written on this topic I would greatly appreciate it. I'd also like to learn more about how to grow my blog community and how to encourage my readers to post comments so that I can engage them more. There's so much information on the internet about blogging for money and many people make outrageous claims about how much they earn from blogging, true or not. But I'd just like to get some easy and practical advice to follow to help take my blog to the next level and to begin generating an income.
