How do I add my blog to the Blog Directory? Are there any rules about adding blogs?

We need your help to introduce the world to more blogs by women - and some men. Adding your blog to the Blog Directory is a three-step process:

Step 1: Make sure your blog meets these guidelines:

1. Your blog is written by:
- A woman or a group of women
- A man who attended a BlogHer Conference
- A man whose blogging is of particular quality and relevance to the women who participate in and read BlogHer, as determined by an editor
- Two or more people, women and men, where the blogs by men satisfy the above requirements
2. Your blog contains no unacceptable content
3. Your blog is active and open to the public.
- Your blog must be at least 30 days old.
- Blogs that are not updated several times a month will not be accepted.

Step 2: Complete the Join form entirely.

1. Title - the title of your blog, not the title of an individual post.
2. URL - Web address of your blog, not the URL of an individual post.
3. Feed URL - the RSS feed URL of your blog. Click the orange RSS icon on your blog to find this link.
4. Description - short description of what your blog is about. Please don't include the text of an individual blog post.
5. Select the topic that you blog about most often. You can select more than one topic area if your blog falls into multiple topic areas.

Step 3: Once you list a blog, you won't see it on the site right away. First your link comes to a managing editor for approval (it's all part of our fight against spam). The blog(s) you list will be published within 30 days if it meets our guidelines.

Once your blog has been added to the Blog Directory, you'll be able to find it by using our site search and filtering the results by content type (Blog Directory) or by searching the Blog Directory.
