How to Live Forever....

Are you like countless others that are mindful by one subject~ Heaven....

How do I have eternal life?

How can I be saved?

How do I get into Heaven?

If these are questions that you find yourself wondering or researching~

I knew it!

How do I know?

As a believer in Christ who cares about the souls of those who do not know God {and a web designer who is constantly online}, I began wondering how often people look to Google for answers about eternity and heaven.

I'd love to bore you with all the numbers but I'll spare you! ;)  Just know that TRILLIONS of people are looking to the Internet about how to be saved and even how to be a christian.  WOW.

Are YOU one of those who are searching for answers about salvation?  I'm here to help.

The Answers
There is no wonder people are confused about eternity.  People in real life who call themselves Christians send mixed signals about what that is supposed to look like and the Internet produces a lot of confusing mumbo jumbo that no one can really comprehend.

I'd like to humbly explain the simplicity of this powerful gift {backing it up with scripture} and assist you with the most important decision of your life.

So grab a bible and I'll show you the truth you seek (or you can use an online bible)

Let me start by saying that salvation (this gift of being saved) is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord.  It matters not your skin color, where you are from, who your family is, how good you'll be when you 'clean your life up' or how bad your past is.  God wants you to come to Him just as you are.

Romans 10:13 "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved"

Accept~ First things first, we have to accept that we have all sinned.  No one is innocent of this.
Romans 3:23 says, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."   The punishment that we have earned for our sins is death-physically and eternally!  Romans 6:23 says "For the wages of sin is death; BUT the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Believe~Jesus Christ paid that price for us!  Romans 5:8 says "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Confess~Romans 10:9 says "If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Because of Jesus' death on our behalf, all we have to do is genuinely believe in Him, trusting His death as the payment for our sins - and we will be saved!

OK, so you've learned how simple it is.  If you haven't already, would you like to pray a simple prayer to the Lord?  You could say something like this:

Dear God, I know I have sinned and I believe that you died for me as a payment for those sins.  I confess that you alone are Lord, who died on the cross and were raised from the dead.  I place my trust and life in you and thank you for your gift. Amen

Did you accept this wonderful gift?

Congratulations!

2 Corinthians 5:17  Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

Heaven is rejoicing-probably not with fireworks- but YAY!

I would be overjoyed to know.  You can leave me a comment below or private message me via my Contact Me.

What do I do now?
Now that you are saved, there is nothing you can do or not do that will take away that gift.  Never. Ever.

God will begin to mold you slowly to be more like Him.  He wants you to have 'heaven on earth' by living to the full.....

What I am about to share next are things you can do that are spoken in His word to us believers {that's what you are now-Yay}.

Baptism~being baptised is a picture of the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord and your sin.

Bible Study~learn more about your creator by reading about Him in His word.  Get a bible with a simple translation that is easy to understand like a NIV (new international version).  My personal favorite is the NASB (new American standard bible).  Ask God to reveal its meaning to you and jump in.

Church~receive encouragement as you get together with other Christians at a {total}bible-believing church.  God knows how hard this life is without the support of other like-minded people.

God does not expect perfection from you now....Just an obedient heart that is willing to trust and follow Him.
