How To Use this Incredible Site

Hi

I am new to Blogher but not so new to blogging.  I write www.theparistraveler.com, a site that talks about all things Parisian, be it touristy or news worthy.  I also go beyond the city walls and take readers to other parts of France as well.  I could not love the city or country more.

I am curious as to how to make blogher work for my site.  Is there anyone out there who has gone through a similar first day of school feeling of confusion and maybe could look at my schedule and help me get to class on time??

Hope to hear from someone

thanks

The first day of school is always confusing

If you click the "Using This Site" link in the horizontal nav at the top of the page, that will probably help a little bit.

Basically - submit your blog to be listed in our blog lists (if it meets the guidelines.)

Wander around the blog posts on BlogHer.com either by going through the home page or clicking into the topic navigation on the left side of the page. Subscribe to newsletters or subscribe to the site via RSS if you use an RSS feedreader.

Answer posts that interest you.

Write a blog post of your own on BlogHer.

Oh yea, almost forgot - log into your profile and enter data in the basic profile and the tag profile sections.

another confused freshman!

Hi all, thanks for this wonderful site. After months of seeing so many of the bloggers I know and love link here, I thought it was finally time to do so myself.

But, like Kim above, I find myself a bit confused. I did check out the "how to use this site" and I *think* I added my site but... is there any way to confirm you got it? I know I JUST sent it so forgive my impatience; I did see it might take a few weeks but... I'm anxious to be listed. Let me know if I'm doing it right or if you need something else from me to be sure I'm listed.

Thank you so, so much for creating such a wonderful resource and helping we newbies out there!

Patience is of the essence

I understand why you're anxious, unfortunately all you can do is wait. And if you meet the criteria listed in the guidelines, you will be added just as soon as we can possibly get you added.

In the meantime, start leaving comments to blog posts and forum posts and start writing your own forum posts and blog posts. There's a lot more to BlogHer than just being included in the blog lists. :-)
