Howdy, y'all, from a Canadian blogher in Sri Lanka

Howdy!  I'm not new to blogging, but I am new to blogher.  I've been blogging for 5 or so years, and, in fact, that's why and how I met my husband.  I downloaded his desktop blogging app, had problems with it, and signed up on his help forums.  Two months later, we met in person and had our first kiss in the airport lobby until the security guard had to tell us to move - we were blocking traffic!  Eight hours later, we were married.  All because of blogging.  So, you know, I'm more than just a little biased in favour of blogging.  ;)

Back in Canada, I was an accountant.  Now that the hubby is supporting me, albeit not quite in the style in which I'd like to become accustomed, I changed careers to writing.  Freelance writing as well as fiction.  Assistant editor of a local geek/gadget magazine.  Science fiction and fantasy.
