The most vital appointment you make each day is with yourself.  Set aside 10 minutes to breathe deeply and connect with who you are and what you want to be.  Center yourself and become skilled at accessing a relaxed state of mind.  Then you can more easily use that centered state of mind in times of stress and emotion.  Connect to yourself to live mindfully and be proactive; it's much more effective than wandering and being reactive.  The 2 keys here are doing it daily and making it a habit.
