I Like Giving: The Transforming Power of a Generous Life - Book Review

Brad Formsma's book is filled with stories from his personal life and the lives of others on the impact that giving has had on the giver's life. Formsma and his family's mission in life now, is to give back to others in fun and unique ways, as he finds he lives a much fuller and more enjoyable life. Coming from a more corporate background, Formsma recognized he was still empty inside. Once he began giving to others, sometimes anonymously, other times not, he found more joy in his life.

He has also has a website dedicated to living this lifestyle, ilikegiving.com, wherein stories of giving can be shared with others, as well as ideas of ways to give both big and small.

The book itself was easy enough to read. Many stories were touching or inspiring. While reading, I was reminded of times when I'd been most giving and how great it felt. The book also highlights how giving is not always just about money or possessions, although many of the stories had those elements.

So, if you're looking for ways to add to your current giving or to enhance your life through giving and need some inspiration, check out Brad Formsma's book, I Like Giving: The Transforming Power of a Generous Life.

The book can be found on Amazon and for Kindle or at Barnes & Noble in paperback or for the Nook.
