I Heart My iPhone - But Siri's Fired.

iPhone Love

#1 - Built-in Camera - I have my phone on me at all times. I also have my children with me a great deal of the time. With the built in camera - I can capture fun, silly and memorable moments as a family. When my daughter and I traveled to France this past summer I did not bring a big bulky camera... all my photos were taken on my iPhone, and I took a lot.

#2 - Google Maps - Living in the city and being able to get literally anywhere without a problem is huge. My sense of direction is awful. Not to mention with all the travel sports teams my children participate in - it allows me to get to all the random field locations easily. Plus my guide is so nice and helpful. I just love her.

#3 -Super Cool Apps - I'm not super hip on apps but I do use some and they have made my life soooo much easier.

  1. 1.  The flashlight - how often I use this app is amazing.
  2. 2.  Boggle - my go-to game for a mind distractor.
  3. 3.  TeamSnap - keeping track of all the teams I manage
  4. 4.  Blogger - creating posts, editing content and reading other bloggers blogs
  5. 5.  Minecraft - That's for the boyz.

#4 - Siri - What can I say... she's soooo not helpful & often too busy to provided needed information. Plus her answers lack any sense of humor. I've fired her numerous times, but she's still collecting a paycheck however not working at all. Calling me by my right title is the only thing she's done correctly.

So there's my iPhone love and one strong dislike. In the end, I do love my iPhone - the ease of checking & staying in touch via texting and email alone is worth it.

I often try to imagine what life would have been like if I had all this technology available to me when I was in jr. high or high school. I don't feel like I missed out on much we managed to find ways to stay connected with our friends and what interested us without it.

Even with my great fondness for my iPhone I do tend to put the phone away once I'm home and with my family. I don't need to stay that connected.

Take care now,

Carol
