New York, New York - I cannot wait to get there! And not just because “it’s a hell of a town.” In just 9 days we’ll be kicking off our biggest conference ever! We’re pulling out all the stops and so are our 100 conference sponsors. They have some amazing things in store for you this year. Here’s just a preview of what awaits you…
Ready to put on your boogie shoes? Have a Just Dance dance-off with your blog buddies in Ubisoft’s booth, #1100. You can also try out some of their other games for Wii and DS. Perfect for the gamer in all of us!
Returning sponsor Liberty Mutual’s Responsibility Project will once again be engaging in conversations on the topic of personal responsibility. Be sure to stop by their booth #1006 to weigh in on the topic.
Want to live-blog from the conference or recharge your mobile devices? The Volt Recharge Lounge: The Official BlogHer Internet Café is the perfect spot! Chevrolet will have chargers for every device under the sun and will be providing a relaxing environment for you to plug-in.
Hungry? Be sure to stop by our Expo Hall to visit sponsors like Mission Foods (booth #1400), National Honey Board (#1818), Eggland’s Best (#2703), @TheLaughingCow (#2008), McDonald’s (#2100), Nestle Butterfinger (#2106), SOYJOY (#2010), Terra Chips (#1603), Healthy Choice (#2006) and Pillsbury (#2800). They’ll all be sampling snacks and treats from their booths.
It’s not just food that our sponsors are serving up, they’ll have some great activities and giveaways too! Lansinoh will be raffling off 3 Affinity Double Electric Breast Pumps in the Lactation Lounge on level 2. Get a health screening from Go Red For Women in booth #1500. Meet Elmo in the Earth’s Best booth #1601. Learn how to personalize and mail tangible cards conveniently from your computer with Hallmark in #2701. Share your story of personal reinvention at Yahoo!’s booth #1124 and you could be featured on Yahoo! Shine. Show off your fashion sense at BillMeLater’s booth #1209. Check out a cooking demo in World Kitchen’s booth #2000. Get your picture taken in Sugar, Inc’s photo booth in #1802. Visit “The Balancing Act” in booth #1819 and you could wind up on camera!
Get media training from PR experts Ketchum in their suite on the 43rd floor. And speaking of suites, you’ll also want to stop by and see our other sponsors on floors 42 and 43 – Metamucil and Align, Hershey’s S’mores Suite (Mmmm…delish!), MyBlogSpark, Microsoft, ECCO, and Mozilla. And be sure to stop by the Job and Geek Lab Lounges on level 2 to see University of Phoenix and Kraft, among others.
And for those of you who love your swag in one neat tidy package… The official BlogHer tote bag, provided by Gettington.com is not only useful, it’s also helping women in India. And it’s going to be stuffed with amazing goodies from sponsors like Playskool, AOL, Wrigley’s, Stouffer’s, Got Milk?, T-Mobile, Arm & Hammer, Sears and our Official Water Bottle Sponsor: 3M Filtrete.
Stay tuned for my post next week where I’ll be highlighting our Diamond Sponsors, Hillshire Farm & Jimmy Dean, Procter & Gamble, PepsiCo and Walmart. You won’t want to miss it! Trust me. In the meantime, be sure to check out our full sponsor list and the current Sponsor Promotions on BlogHer.com!
