I painted an old terracotta lamp base I picked up at a garage sale

At a recent vide-grenier, I picked up this terracotta lamp base which at €3, I decided was too good an opportunity to miss.
I know it's not very pretty but I was sure that I could revive it.
One afternoon last week with my paint in hand, I got to work. It's a really good size, standing at 50 cm and very heavy.
I'm really pleased with the results, what do you think?
Now I need to find the right shaped lamp shade and get the electrician to show me how to connect the electrical cable. When this is finished, I think it will look fabulous in the TV room.
