I went on a Silent Date. Part 2.
By The Armchair Pe... on January 17, 2009
After posting my ad for an Experimental Date prior to Valentine's Day, I was SWARMED with replies. It took a few days before I responded to any of them, and the ad was flagged by Craigslist.
The scariest one had the subject line: More hotcakes please, Mrs. Douglas.
The email said "All you can eat at the IHOP"
and this was the attached pic:
I was a bit taken aback. I showed my best buddy and he FLIPPED OUT. "That's Danny! Caila, that's Danny Trejo! I know him! That's Danny!" I guess it's a celebrity, and the person who sent it was Not him, sent from a phony address with a sci-fi name. I wouldn't have posted this if he wasn't a famous guy.
Anyhow, I picked my favorite response, and we met up. More soon.
