Hello wonderful BlogHer community! I have been looking for you all my blog-life (www.yousillygirl.blogspot.com)!

I'm new here, but have been blogging for long enough that Diablo Cody of Juno fame linked to my modest efforts back-in-the day, while she was growing her wings, and instead of being totally jealous of her newfound prosperity (OK, maybe I'm a little jealous), I am rather re-inspired.

That, and I find myself enjoying communities of bloggers like this, which reasserts the importance of the individual voice. Write it loud!

Essentially, i just turned 30 and am single again, and living in Montreal, Canada, and these are my transition years. I live and write honestly, and it's so nice to share, and read, and share.

This is generally how I describe my blog, and myself:

"I'm a fan of unconventional behaviour and discovery by blunder, a
single Montrealer and 30-year-old adolescent resisting 9-to-5. I'm a
small-town Canadian by birth, Maritimer by formative years, and
desperate, compulsive traveller by nature. When I'm not writing, I'm
dating weirdos, missing planes, and not learning from my mistakes."
