I'm calling it folks. We'll never find a date that works for everyone, but the 13th seems to be okay for most.
When:
Saturday June 13, 2-6 pm. And if you come a little before 2, that's fine. We'll fire up the grill around 4pm
Where:
171 White Pond Rd. Hudson MA
Who:
Boston Area BlogHers, spouses/partners and children. BlogHims too!
We may have a sponsor to cover some of the food costs (YAY, and more on that when it is final) so we need the attendee count sooner rather than later. Hopefully, the sponsor will be able to cover burgers, buns and fixins, and everyone can bring a favorite salad or sweet. Plus your beverage of choice.
Firm count so far.
SGetgood: 2 adults, 1 child
Fairly Odd Mother: 1 adult, 3 children (smiling)

I'm in!
That's perfect for me! I really appreciate that you're having it at your home so the kids can come Susan!
1 adult, 1 child.
If anyone wants a ride from Southern NH feel free to get in touch with me.

Would like to be in, but
I would need to get a ride to Hudson from the Boston area or at least get help in figuring out the commuter rail there. I can help with gas.
The date and the time works for me, though at first I thought 2-6 was a little long for a meetup until I saw burgers and picnic stuff would be involved.
If I am able to come, I can bring a potato salad and cranberry juice.

Boston folks who need transport
I'm sure we can figure out something on the transportation. If necessary we'll pick folks up at the train station, but I'll bet there's car pool potential.
A cook-out with a fairly fluid time seemed to make the most sense given that a good number of us have kids and it would be easier to do something that they would also enjoy.
Perfect!
The 13th was the only Saturday in June that was good for me, so this is perfect! I'll be there, one adult.

Are we on rain or shine?
Given how lovely the weather has been lately, I thought I'd ask if we're still going to meet if the day is rainy. (knocking on wood that it's sunny)

June 13th is on Rain or Shine
We've got plenty of indoor space too, so yes, we are on rain or shine.
I'll have you know...
...I had to chose between bloggers and dogs and I picked bloggers. So that means I'm planning on being there.
Right now put us down for 2 adults and 2 kids, but it may be just me if I can unload the kids. :)

Veggie Burgers, You Bet
We do indeed have sponsors. Burgers (meat and veg), buns and fixings courtesy of Peapod and ice cream from Friendly's are confirmed, and there will probably be a couple more.
Once I have the full count and know how far the grocery money from Peapod and one other potential sponsor will go, I'll know for sure what we'll need to supply ourselves, but it's looking like a salad/side dish and your beverages of choice.
RSVP count so far
22 adults
18 children
My son has volunteered to come up with some activities for the kids. I think he has some sort of craft thing in mind, but no worries, parents, no scissors or sharp objects :-) Doubtless it will make a BIG mess. He's like that. IOW a typical 9 year old.
I suspect we'll have a pretty solid count and a good idea of the sponsors by early next week, so we'll finalize what everyone needs to bring to supplement our generous sponsors by the end of the week.
New to area - would love to make it
Hey there:
I just got my invite for the SF meet up, but I have just moved to Hartford, CT. If our furniture is delivered before or after the 13th, we'll be there. (A fun break from the chaos of moving). I will RSVP early the week of for 2 adults, 1 child.

A Hopeful Maybe
I'm going to try to make it with my 3yo daughter. If we can figure out a way around nap time, my husband and 19mo daughter will join as well. But I hope to attend regardless! (sorry, pretty wishy-washy, I know...)
I'll be there!
I'd love to come! It will be just me. I'll be driving from Boston and can possibly help with carpooling, if someone needs a ride.
car pooling from Boston
Alaiyo earlier in the thread definitely mentioned needing to catch a ride or take the train.
Can the two of you connect and sort everything out?

Latest count
Latest count including the maybes, is 35 adults and 23 children.
Thanks to our sponsors, I am pretty sure we will have enough in the kitty to fund hamburgs, hot dogs, veggie burgers and fixings for everyone plus some random munchies. We have ice cream for dessert.
So all you need to bring is a salad, side dish or munchies of some sort, your beverages of choice (alcoholic & non) and if you can, a folding/camp chair. We have some, but not 30!
The side dish does not have to be enough to feed 35 adults -- make a normal amount as you would for a regular family BBQ. If everyone brings something, we'll have more than enough food.
Minus one husband
After I went around drumming up supports for husbands, mine realized that he is going up to Laconia for motorcycle week that day. So it will be just me and the 2 kids now.
