Hey friends! This is my last review in this series...I hope you've enjoyed learning about this group of products...It's been fun to learn and try new things and get to share them with you! Thanks for hanging in there for all of this non-crafty and non-sewing stuff! The last item up for review is the Epione ClearTouch Matrix. This was a weird review for me because one of the main selling points of this item is removing make-up and daily impurities, and I don't wear make-up. Read more
This is kind of sad: The last giveaway from our New Year, New You program. And it’s a GOOD one... The Epione ClearTouch Matrix: An innovative system that not only cleanses the skin of makeup and daily impurities, but also massages the face helping reduce the appearance of fine lines and discoloration. Sweet! Let’s see... Oooohh, what a pretty box! Read more
When the Epione ClearTouch Matrix showed up at my door I was impressed just by the box. Even the packaging looks like it came directly from a spa. The ClearTouch Matrix is a spinning facial brush. The circular motion helps remove your makeup as well as daily impurities like oil and dirt. The massaging motion is supposed to help with the appearance of fine lines as well. In addition to the facial brush and sponge, there is also a body brush and a pumice stone to help keep your feet smooth. I was most excited about the pumice stone. Read more
This is the last of the health- and fitness-related giveaways. And it's a good one. Y'all may remember that I mentioned I'd finally broken down and bought a Clarisonic Mia brush for my face. And I adore it. Nothing has ever made my skin feel so clean and smooth. I've hardly had any breakouts and I've watched dark spots become much less noticeable. Which means I'll be wearing the biggest sunhat I can find this summer. If you need to find me just come to my neighborhood pool and look for the woman in a lounge chair who looks like your Aunt Maude. Read more
This is the last review in the 'NEW YEAR NEW YOU' campaign that I have been participating in with BlogHer and Best Buy. I can't tell you how much fun it has been to test out so many things that were for my personal use. To help me feel better. To help improve my health. It has been a serious treat. So thank you BlogHer and Best Buy. Seriously. The last item that I was sent to test out, was the Epione ClearTouch Matrix beauty brush. I know, long title, but a really cool little system. Read more
Hi friends! Are you enjoying learning about all of these new products? Did you have any idea that any of them even existed? Maybe it's just me, but I am learning that I know very little about the variety of healthy living type aides that are out there. It's been a lot of fun to be put in the position of having to learn, try, use and get to know a product and then share it with others. I hope you've been enjoying them, too! This weeks product up for review is the Fitbit. Read more
Running and working out at the gym are great exercise, but I personally think most people don't get the results they are looking for because they don't realize that all of the extra 'working out' is just making up for the walking and moving that they should be doing during the day. Walking and moving have been replaced by sitting in front of a computer and driving in a car. I know that is the case with me. Read more
Oooooooh, are you ready for another really great gadget? I know I have been showing you so many lately ... but I've just been so excited about it all. It's been keeping me motivated. And healthy. And happy. I'm hoping with all of this exercise goodness, you can maybe see what fits with your lifestyle and motivation best. And then go with it. This particular gadget may cause you to start competing with yourself, trying to improve your numbers and stats. Well, at least it has for me. Read more
Okay, I said the ft7 polar watch was my favorite, maybe this one ties. Meet your new teeny, tiny best friend in helping you reach your fitness goals: The FitBit Ultra. love this little thing! Listen. I feel like over the last six weeks or so that I have never paid so much attention to all these aspects of my fitness. I'm watching what I eat, exercising more, taking care of my skin and popping vitamins and fish oil like it's candy. I am a stranger in my own body. The good news is it's all starting to feel a little more natural and becoming part of my daily routine. I wake up in the morning and know that I need to eat breakfast even though I really don't enjoy breakfast. Read more
