There are thousands of ways to use the internet to connect with the online community socially & professionally - what's a blogger to do? How do you know what it all means? Go on Twitter or Facebook at any given moment and you may hear people talking about blogging platforms and PHP and CSS and HTML, you'll hear about Android phones and Feedburner, people are discussing tracking web stats and talking about Wordpress plugins and website themes. You'll hear about Javascript and JQuery, Widgets and more. You'll wonder about the best way to connect your blog to Facebook and why or why not you should create a Facebook Fan Page. You'll wonder why everyone is bashing on Internet Explorer and what on earth is Google Wave? Google Chrome? Google phones? Is Google taking over the world?! And you may think to yourself:

What the hell IS all this? Do I need it? Do I want it? What do I do with it once I have it?!

Intro to Geeking will address all these and more. We'll discuss all the basic Geek Speak, and go over techniques for finding out what it all means (so you don't go months thinking that FTW means Fuck The World when it really means For the Win!).
