Intro Redux from Thorne

Hello all you rockin' wimminz who put the "grrr" in grrrl!  Thorne here, also known around the interwebz as Ol' Auntie, "Auntie Thorne" and "Hey you"!

I signed up here at Blogher back when Moby Dick was a minnow... well, okay.  Maybe not that long ago, but back when we all lived in the Castle and noone lived anywhere else. (Any body but me have a soft spot for author Shirley Jackson?).  I've gone through alot of changes, both lifewise and blogwise since then, so decided to pop in here to re-introduce myself and invite you to come and see me at  Thorne's World, my home blog, or at The Eclectic Witch, my magickal lifestyle blog.

At Thorne's World  I post about pretty much whatever I feel like writing- life, death, my rescued parrots, tattoos (my business) DIY, gardening and upcycling at the old homestead, also known as "Pair-O-Dykes Ranch".

Over at the Eclectic Witch you'll find me sharing bits and pieces of my experience as a 30-something year practicing and studying eclectic pagan. I'm not Wiccan, and it's not a religious blog.  I'm just an old fashioned witch sharing my idea of what it means to be living a magickal lifestyle and the practical applications of magick in my day to day life. Topics cover a wide rage of philosophies and beliefs from nature based practices to thelema to eastern philosophy.
