YahooHello everyone! My name is Kat, and I blog over at The Atomic Mom. I'm pretty new to the working mama circle, and just wanted to stop in to say hello, and introduce myself. I just started working full time last week, when I realized that I could no longer be a SAHM due to our budget. You cen read about that on my blog, but I won't get into it here.
I'm not new to the working mom community, however, and have always worked. I just took a year off to spend at home, and unfortunately could take no more. It's really hard to balance life with work. There are so many demands on my time that I feel as though I'm a rubberband being pulled in all different directions.
I don't make a whole lot of money, but it helps a lot. I just realized that my son graduates from preschool this Thursday, and I didn't schedule off for that day. Since I've only been there a couple of weeks I'm scared to ask off after already being scheduled, and I'm worried to death that his grandma will be the only one there. There are both pros and cons to being a working mom, but I'm praying the pros outweigh the cons by far.
