Is it the 4th of July? No it's still June!
By Avery Lane on June 28, 2014
4th of July is one of my favorite holidays. I love the fireworks, picnics and spending time with family and friends. What I do not love is when my neighbors start shooting off fireworks at night at the beginning of June. The closer it gets to July 4th, the louder the fireworks get. Yesterday evening at around 10:30pm, there was a very large bang. It was so loud that I jumped in my seat. Then I here crying from both of my kids bedrooms about the very loud noise and how scared they are to go to sleep.
I understand it is a Friday night and people like to party like its 1999. I understand that their are already firework stands set up in town selling fireworks and people can't wait to set them off. What I don't understand is why my neighbors are setting off what sound like bombs at 10:30 at night. 9:00pm would be one thing, but 10:30pm is just plain rude. I am tempted to buy fireworks of my own and set them off at 6:00am when I leave for work. I could give these neighbo's a taste of their own medicine. I'm sure they would still be asleep.
So in conclusion I would like to tell my crazy neighbors that they should save their fireworks at least until the the 3rd of July. Unless they want a 6:00am wake up call.
