At blogging conferences there is so much talk about branding, monetizing, SEO, ROI, and on and on and on!!

But what about those of us with smaller blogs? Those of us who are lucky to get a comment or two a week (if even that!)? Those of us who see 100 page views in a month and think "AWESOME!!!"

Being around other "bigger" bloggers can make us "smaller" bloggers seem insignificant, or unworthy. Many times we hover over the big DELETE button because, well, what's the point if no one reads it anyway?

But there IS a point. You started your blog for a reason, whether it was to document your child's life, track your favorite recipes or DIY projects, to vent about politics, or to write about your favorite sports team. You've kept it going for months enjoying what you do. It's OK to be a small time blogger! It's OK to not make money or get comments or get worldwide recognition!

Small blogs have a place, too. They are just as important as the "big" blogs. So let's get our small blogs together and celebrate!
