Join BlogHer On The Road! All Reach Out Tour Cities Now Open For Registration
by KristySF

If you can't make it to BlogHer '08 in San Francisco this year, maybe you can join us in one of our SIX "Reach Out Tour" cities this fall? We'll be condensing our annual event into one-day extravaganzas in Boston, DC, Nashville, Greensboro, Atlanta and New Orleans. And you can register now for any or all of them!

We're still finalizing the various agendas, but you can expect each city's sessions to feature fantastic speakers, relevant sessions, and a lot of local flair. Plus, we'll have a track just for beginners (so if you know someone -- your friend, sister, mother, grandmother, neighbor -- who should be blogging if she just had the right tools and motivation, send her over!).

Read more about the Reach Out Tour on our official Conference Blog, or simply click on the city below to learn more about where, when, how much and how to register:

October 11 - BlogHer BOSTON

October 13 - BlogHer DC

October 16 - BlogHer NASHVILLE

October 18 - BlogHer GREENSBORO

October 21 - BlogHer ATLANTA

October 25 - BlogHer NEW ORLEANS

Florida!

Come to Miami!  Come to Tampa!  Come to Orlando!

Atlanta bound

As a Tampa-resident, I totally second Cliopatra's words, but luckily for this non-able-to-attendee, Atlanta is within my reach.

I wonder if the GM sponsored vehicle is available if you're roadtripping it??

Actually, yes, Anissa

We're working on details right now, but since GMis also sponsoring the Reach Out Tour, we're hoping to be able to offer the same opportunity!

Stay tuned...

Hmmm...

Would this be possible for someone heading from Ohio to New Orleans with a stop in Alabama to pick up a friend? And anyone else who might want to go along the way? I will definitely be paying attention for more details!

I'm going to Boston

Anyone else going to the Boston event?

Boston - I'm seriously considering it...

I live in Boston, so I am seriously considering attending the Reach Out event here...it's just hard to think so far ahead to October, I barely know what I'm doing next week!

Atlanta or Nashville... still deciding

Since I live in Chattanooga, I'm pretty much looking at a two hour drive to either Nashville or Atlanta. I hope to narrow it down soon. Thanks for having this option, it really is a great way to dip my toe in the Blogher pool.

Welcome to NashVegas Ladies!!

Thanks for coming to Nashville BlogHer!  Ya'll come rock on the porch, stay for supper and watch the stars with us.

Come to Greensboro

I'll be speaking, and then, I hope, bopping down for the Atlanta one-day afterwards.

can't wait!

So thinking about coming up earlier in the weekend and just making a long weekend out of it (why should San Fran have ALL the fun).  Would be interested to see if anyone else, as time draws closer, would be up for something like that.

Hey, E

I'm on for Atlanta already, and leaving from Tampa as well.  If you're interested in a road trip, i'm working on Izzymom to pile into one of those GM donate-a-mobile vehicles and heading up.  Want to talk about the possibility of a carpool?

Feel free to contact me through my website and we can talk about what plans are and if we REALLY want to get stuck in a car together for 10 hours! LOL

But if we're both going to go, let's share the gas, you know??  I would be fun to know some people heading up.

New to BlogHer and have a question

Is there a benefit to attending more than one Reach Out?  I could attend Nashville or New Orleans...or both.  Is the content significantly different?

Sorry if this is a dumb question!  Appreciate your help.

Not a dumb question at all Reford! why to
attend multiple cities

Actually, that's a great question!

Each city's agenda is actually different in the following ways:

-Each city will have its own general sessions/keynotes featuring its own local blogging greats

-There are three tracks in each city, one of which is completely custom built for that city based on that city's particular blogging scene. For example DC's agenda is pretty politics and activism oriented, while Nashville's agenda focuses more on blogging communities in and around the area...like the women covering Nashville's cultural scene.

-Finally, even the Blogging Basics track for new/beginning bloggers, while having the same sessions in each city, will feature different and local instructors in each city.

Meanwhile going to two cities would of course mean that you could focus on developing your skillz in one city, and attend the regional blogging interest track in the other city.

Hope this helps? let me know if you have any more questions.
