Way back in 2008, Kristy Sammis had a great idea -- a Good Health-athon that would encourage women to set their own S.M.A.R.T. goals for better health. We liked the idea so much that we brought the Good Health-athon back again for another round in 2009. This year, we thought we'd launch it again -- but in the spring and summer, because women don't just care about their health during New Year's Resolution season, right?

For Good Health-athon 2010, we're focusing on three major topics: fitness, sleep, and willpower -- but please feel free to choose your own health goals and join in the discussions. That's the whole idea behind the Good Health-athon. We all care about our health, and having others to talk to about our concerns, our questions, our successes and our struggles is what counts.

Would you like to lose a little weight before BlogHer10 (or BlogHer Food)? Are you struggling with insomnia? Need a little bit of willpower to help you quit smoking or cut back on sugar? What are the health issues you're most concerned about? Set some goals and share them in the comments.

Two big goals here:

1) Exercising for at least 30 min/day, at least 3x/week, and

2) Fit back into the clothes I bought early this year, which are the same size as some of my pre-pregnancy clothes. (That would be a bonus, too!)

My younger sister is getting married in May 2011 and I want to look as good as I possibly can because she insists on me being in the wedding party. So I have 344 days to do the impossible:)

I'm struggling to get back on the wagon after falling off. Hardcore.

My goals are simple:

1. Get back to running.
2. Get back to yoga. (Which probably involves signing up for the class at the YMCA even though I won't be able to go every week.)
3. OMG. GET BACK TO EATING RIGHT.
4. Less salt. I'm so swollen right now. Stupid kidney.
5. More water.
6. And having a good, healthy attitude about it all!
