Sometimes I feel like this is my life: As much I try to get ahead, I’m just so close, yet never can grasp it.
Take this morning for instance, since I am in a different time zone than Australia I had to program my DVR to record the men’s finals. I’m no dummy, I know that it always goes over the time allotted, so I set my DVR to record 3 hours over (the highest option available for me). And what happens??? This happens: My DVR recording finishes just as Djokovic has Nadal in a game lead in the final set and they have to play JUST ONE MORE GAME. ONE MORE! I was up at 5:41 am to start watching this, I avoided all social media during those six hours (and one minute) that my DVR played. And then I had to turn to the internet, get spoiled with the results, and watch the final points be played.
Djokovic won 5-7, 6-4, 6-2, 6-7(5), 7-5.
Life, sometimes you just drive me freaking crazy.
