Justin Timberlake Backs New Photo Tagging Company Stipple it

Fashionistas, clothing companies, and ecommerce sites may soon go ga ga over the newest photo tagging technology called Stipple.  Stippleit.com, funded by big investors such as Justin Timberlake, offers four main types of services: Lens, Pipeline, Network, & Want.  Lens enables photo agencies to gain more revenue capabilities for their images.  The site also provides analytics services to help agencies monitor traffic and pinpoint their most profitable images.  Stipple's Pipeline service allows brands to connect online images with their products.

For instance, Gucci can tag Eva Longoria sporting their latest designer shades by adding the company name, product name, and price.  Pipeline tagging works in conjunction with Stipple's "Want" where consumers view Eva Longoria's image and find out all the desired product information.  As a fashion fanatic and avid online shopper, Stipple's "Want" services is a dream in the making.  Do you ever look at Better Homes and Garden magazine or TheNest.com and think "Wow, I want all the products featured in this bathroom" and immediately realize how painstakingly tedious it would be to research every product in that photo?

Stipple may soon solve this issue by enabling consumers to view an entire room posted on sites like dwell magazine and pick out all their desired embellishments.
