Out with the old, in with the new. For single celebrity mom-of-8 Kate Gosselin, 2010 means it's finally time to say farewell to her trademark look: The reverse mullet. The short, spiky, flat-ironed 'do has been replaced by a long, blonde weave. So far the verdict is... well, to put it nicely, not great. But regardless of how we feel about her new locks I think we can all safely agree that it was time for a change.
Kate shows off her new look on the cover of People magazine and says, “It’s good to have hair again. I never thought I’d have short hair for as long as I did. I feel like this is a fresh start, a fresh me, a fresh life."
With her new 'do comes a new name: "It's hyphenated," the reality star jokes. "I am now Kate Clean-Slate."
Maybe her new look has something to do with her rumored new TV venture: She's reportedly in talks to star in a new dating show. I guess that "fresh life" she refers to will still be taking place in front of the cameras.
