Kids Explore Laguna Beach
The family and I recently went cruising the Pacific Coast Highway 1 and decided to venture out to Laguna Beach. Laguna Beach is a small seaside town rich in fine arts, local shops and gorgeous waters. Everything about Laguna Beach is picturesque-the lush botanicals, high cliffs and crystal clear beaches.
Places to Visit in Laguna Beach:
Crystal Cove State Park- Crystal Cove is almost 3.5 miles of beautiful beach and woodland. Kids can do a variety of outdoor activities like searching for hermit crabs and sea urchins in the tide pools or go horseback riding. Families can cozy up in the quaint cottages and dine at local restaurants.
Bluebird Park Laguna Beach-An expansive park near downtown Laguna Beach. Lots of built in slides and play tunnels to crawl through. There two separate playgrounds- one for toddlers and another one for older kids. The best kid feature is the four-story rocket ship playground.
We spent most of the day at the beach on South Coast Highway, adjacent to the Montage Laguna Beach Resort. Here are some highlights of our day trip.
