Knowing when to say when!

What is humbling than looking yourself in the mirror and being actually happy with who you are.  Some days are easier than others.  Me, personally, on the days I get my eyeliner lined just right on both eyes I can tell that it's going to be a winning kind of day for me.  I've come to realize that I am not a superficial person, it just took me a really long time to become comfortable in the skin I'm in and to not apologize for it.  Some call it being conceited, and I call it quite the opposite.

As I sit here nibbling on an oatmeal raisin cookie I have come to appreciate my life just in general.  I am far from perfect - my flaws are just that - all mine!  I find that even at the young age of 40 I am becoming even more humbled about who I was made to be.  I'm a wife and mother but most importantly I'm a woman - a confident one at that.

To all my mothers and wives out there who are reading this, always remember that you are and forever will be a woman and never allow anyone to take that feeling away from you.
