I started blogging about my teenage son Charlie in June of 2005. I've never stopped -- and thanks to blogging, I am now Online Advocacy and Marketing Manager at Care2. Prior to this, I taught taught ancient Greek and Latin for 20 years at universities on the East Coast and the Midwest. My essays on autism and disability studies have appeared in the Guardian, the Chronicle of Higher Education and in a number of collections including the recent Worlds of Autism: Across the Spectrum of Neurological Difference.
