  • Pumpkin Party—before your guests show up in their best overgrown child’s pumpkin costume, clarify that this party is about  bringing a pumpkin treat to share and eat!-and if they want to wear a pumpkin costume.. well.. then.. that’s good.—make this pumpkin roll.
  • Good Old Costume Party—Guests can vote on best costumes. Categories could include: Funniest, Scariest, Best play on pop culture..etc. Winners can take home a prize furnished by you, the host, such as a bottle of champagne, or some chocolate treats.

Decor Ideas

Since Halloween falls perfectly within the harvest season, it is easy to incorporate a touch of Halloween in with your harvest displays.

Insert curly black willow branches into a  tall vase. Instant spook.

Just add pumpkins, some cobweb and light the candles to turn this harvest scene to Halloween!
