Lea Webb serves as the first African American woman elected to the City Council in Binghamton, in upstate New York. Only 28 years old, she's making a name for herself taking on progressive causes, one after the other. Lea is calling for New Yorkers to press their state legislators on the issue of public financing of campaigns. A White House Project Go Run alumna, Lea is quickly becoming a rising star in women’s political leadership for the state of New York.
