Let us have quick comparison between the two.

They are both delectable especially when we follow the instruction or the recipe direction.

Obviously, lean cuisine meals have the advantage. All you need is to use a microwave or place it in a steamer. Set it on a few minutes and that is it. However, when you cook, you really have to allot time in preparing the ingredients, setting up the equipment and in plating.
Third: nutritional value
Obviously, cooked meals especially that have vegetables and fruits are already considered healthy and nutritious. The same is true when we cook meat, we could remove the fats thus making it healthier also.
Meanwhile, lean cuisine meals are processed food, which definitely have preservatives whether artificial or not. The most eminent mineral in most lean cuisine is sodium, which our body needs a little amount to help cell respiration. However, we could not also discount that there are lean cuisine meals that are vitamin enriched or mineral fortified.
Fourth: losing weight
Perhaps, this is the primary reason why people compare regularly cooked meals against lean cuisine meals. Technically, there is no significant difference between the two. Eating habits is just one part of the equation of getting that ideal weight. We must also consider exercise and other lifestyle modification to aid us achieve this.
