Learning to Live In the Moment!
Learning to live in the moment!
I've worked for over 20 years; until now. I've always planned my future...in HS I planned to go to Howard University and study law. When that plan didn't go thru for various reasons, I had a back up plan and attended another college where yes, I majored in Pre-law/Economics... Bachelors degree...Next UC law school.
But Life ~~~ LIFE STEPPED IN!!
My life change forever...(my only sister passed away from cancer), it was like I was permanently derailed. But some how a friend got me a job a hook up into the Real World.
I managed to establish a career in Human Resources. But now I find myself... at a crossroads... unemployed and wondering.... What do I want to do ...
What's my passion, can I really afford to not return to work to pursue my passions? Should I go back to school to pursue my Master's degree? Should I take the next job that calls me? How am I going to do this... it's been months. My chest hurts.....
Last night I prayed for Clarity of my Journey.... the only thing I felt was a sense of peace. I can't continue to worry about what's going to happen 6 months from now. I have to live for today.
I have to breathe and live in the moment. So, I'm on this journey...taking a little time to enjoy each moment. Pray...Eat...Love! #breakfastofchampions
