Earlier, we told you about BlogHer International Activist Scholarship Recipient Yoani Sanchez and her difficulties getting out of Cuba to receive her award at BlogHer '11.

Now, AnaRC from Latism is asking us to help Yoani by doing what we do best... blogging!

Since blogging is the best tool we have, I have an idea: Let’s blog Yoani out of Cuba. A pioneer in the blogosphere, who has taught and inspired so many of us must receive our support. I believe in the influence of all our voices united. In one choir, one prayer, one petition, one cry for justice.

Read the full post and learn some tips on how to make your voice count at Latism.

Update: 7/5/11

Yoani's plight has caught the attention of the New York Times, with an article In Cuba, the Voice of a Blog Generation

Hi AnaRC, this is a marvelous move to raise our voices for Yoani. As we blog Yoani out of Cuba, could we all decided on a week date/day to be dedicated to Yoani? The main activities of these days would be using mass media campaign requesting Yoani out of Cuba.

what do you think?

thanks
