Let's Rock An Open-Mic

There are so many unique voices out there in the blog-o-sphere, and each one of us has something of value to say. Why not create a space where we can all get together to say it? I was thinking it would be totally cool to do a room of our own where people come and read one of their best pieces. It would sort of be like stretching the idea of the keynote speakers to include so many more of us. Just a really cool and laid-back way to meet people, and celebrate what we do as writers. Plus, you could come and wear a beret, snap your fingers, and just chill out in the room and listen. Could you dig it? Okay. Seriously.  Berets are optional.
