Ok, so here goes.... I read about the "benefits" of blogging in my Redbook mag: taking charge of your life, being your own author, etc, etc. So here I am in search of maybe some moral support from my fellow middle-agers (did anybody define just who that is??) about all things pertinent to our lives, from keeping the sparks alive in our relationships and raising teenagers who definitely do NOT come with instruction manuals(!!) to maintaining our sanity with our sometimes high-maintenance friends and family members! I have lots and lots of questions for anyone who wants to respond but I'll reserve them for now....and see what this is all about! :) The condensed version of me? 40 yr old professional raising 4 (mostly) wonderful kids, - 1 of whom I birthed, the other 3 were an "package" deal with their dad (I know..what was I thinking??) and said dad, who is the soul-mate ( I never liked that cliche) I didn't have the first time around! I had heard relationships are better when you're "all gown up", which I thought I was when I married at 22, but let me just say: IT'S THE BEST! 2.5 yrs later and I'm still as crazy about him as a love-sick high-schooler. (I really believed the novelty would wear off by now but I guess when you enter a new relationship 'later in life', all that stuff is true. So that's a bit about me...I look forward to hearing from you!
