Life is short, too short!

I have two cause near and dear to me. Number one is Breast cancer. My Grandmother died from Breast cancer and thousands have died since. You can help women in need get free mammograms that may save their lives with one click. Click daily to give free Mammograms. The National Breast Cancer Foundation estimates that each year, over 200,000 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer and over 40,000 die. One woman in eight either has or will develop breast cancer in her lifetime. Approximately 1,700 men will be diagnosed with breast cancer and 450 will die each year.

If detected early, the five-year survival rate for breast cancer exceeds 96%. Mammograms are among the best early detection methods, yet 13 million U.S. women 40 years of age or older have never had a mammogram.

Number 2 is Alzheimer's disease. Alzheimer's is a disease that attacks the brain. It is the most common form of dementia.5.3 million people have Alzheimer's. It is the 7th leading cause of death. Some describe it as a slow death. There is NO cure and is misdiagnosed often. Anyone who has a family member or loved one stricken with Alzheimer's as I do know how horrible it is to watch as they loose their life and dignity with no hope for a cure or no way to slow the disease. We need to find a cure and stop this horrible disease now! Walk for a cure for Alzheimer's.
