Every morning before I leave for work, my husband and I share a moment where we embrace, tell each other to have a good day, and say "I love you."  It makes all the difference in the world!

I love waking up to big brown eyes an inch from mine, my son asking me if I'm awake.  I am now, sunshine.

My husband and I realized it was far too easy for us to end up working on the weekends, so we decided at the beginning of the month to take an "adventure" every Saturday. Every weekend we leave town and drive for 1-3 hours to find something new and awesome. Our marriage has been so much better for it, as well as my personal love tank. :) laurennicolelove[at]gmail.com

My moment is every night when my dog comes to cuddle with me on the couch. No matter what kind of day I've had he always makes me feel better.

I realized recently that  I've been so busy trying to get love and be loved by my husband and that I spend energy and tears mourning his lack of perfection in loving me.  I was listening to a lecture on compassion, which the Dalai Lama defines as the wish for others to be free from suffering, and I realized that I have not been compassionate or loving toward my husband.  My Life Well Lived Moment is when I became awash in tears out of love for who my husband is right now and stopped trying to get love and started trying to BE LOVE.

My life well lived moment is at the end of each day when my husband and three children are asleep and I am so thankfully to have been blessed with my wonderful family, even if it's been a horrible day.

My 9-year-old daughter brings me coffee every morning at 7 AM.  (She came up with this idea on her own, apparently knowing her Mom needs a little extra help in the morning.)  Yesterday, she brought me coffee in a WINE GLASS.  What a way to wake up --  to a beautiful kid and a wine glass of coffee!

When my daughters blow me kisses and wave goodbye to me every morning when I drop them off at school, it makes my whole day worth living!

I was helping my daughter sing her choir song, Seasons Of Love, from Rent - and I completely choked up at the line, How do you measure, a year in the life?

It's been a tough year for us. :)

Cuddling with my rescue dogs can make even the worst day worth living.  They offer unconditional love no matter what.

Just being with my family everyday makes life worth living for me. I love to share and laugh with my husband and 2 children. I love watching my children grow and become what they are meant to be. Nothing brings me more pleasure and satisfaction. Every sacrifice as a mother is worth the result!

All the time I spend with my partner of over 22 years makes my life worth living.  When I was so depressed I couldn't even get out of bed and was considering the unthinkable, he is who saved me from myself.  He is who showed me that life is a beautiful thing and all the "things" we think make life what it is are just things.  It is how we live our lives and share them with others that truly create life.

When my 18 month wakes up calling out "momeeeeee! dadeeeee!" and he brings her into our bed to snuggle is so precious! It's a wonderful way to start our day.

Every so often my daughter and my 7-month-old granddaughter will spend the night with me. We all sleep together in my big king-size bed. OK, I'll admit, I don't get much sleep. They're both restless sleepers, and they end up piled right on top of me, my granddaughter sideways with her toes poking my bladder. But I love waking up in the morning to their sleepy faces and my granddaughter's delighted smiles when she sees I'm still there in the morning. Sometimes we don't get up until noon. I love those mornings. :-)

Spending time with my husband doing simple, everyday things creates my Life Well Lived Moments. We love each other unconditionally, and it makes me so happy when we are able to truly enjoy simple things like going for a walk together or playing a board game.

With our conflicting schedules I dont get to spend as much time with my parents as I should. I love spending Sundays in the Kitchen with mom, we each brew a cup of green tea and share a bar of dark chocolate and just talk. I really cherish moments like this with her, especially now when I am old enough to appreciate it and not just roll my eye. I look forward to little moments with her. :)

When I come home each night to my kids juggling a career, family and home as a single mom of two, hearing them claw at the door before I walk in and later being ambushed by hugs often tipping me over (I'm breeding jungle monkeys) I feel another grateful day in a life well lived for this spoiled with love mom. @InRShoes

I swear this isn't a plug for my blog, but honestly, every time I write a peice and put it up on the site is a moment of a life well lived for me.  Writing about food and cooking was at first just a fun little thing to do here and there, but as I've gone down the rabbit hole of cooking (and writing) I've discovered a deep sense of satisfaction knowing that I'm learning by leaps and bounds.  Also, the community that I've built (not on teh internet) around cooking, eating and writing are phenomenal for feeling connected to life.  In essence, blogging is my life well lived.

And now for my shameless plug.  The blog is www.unprofessionalcookery.com, you should check it out.

The soft nicker of one of the mares as I grab her halter and open her gate is definitely a good moment.  So is having sixteen chickens hovering at my feet, wondering if I am going to feed them now.

Despite all of the "events" my husband & I attend (movies, plays, concerts, dinners out, etc.), the moment that sticks out (and runs on a continuous loop in my brain for those moments when I am feeling less than 100%) is a impromptu "date" from about 2 or 3 months ago.  We grabbed the dogs, walked to Dunkin Donut's for coffee, then walked around our neighborhood.  Once the sun went down, we shared a pizza slice in the park next to our house.  It was magical. :)

Choosing to find the joy in everyday, regardless of the circumstances each day may bring. And noticing how this positive attitude effects my family too. My teenage children will pause and comment on a sunrise or a bird singing in a tree. My husband will lean over and grab my hand, and say I love you, just because. Every day has good in it and choosing to focus on that joy makes me feel loved and is a Life Well Lived! #joyfulchallenge

Love for my family creates a Life Well Lived! I love that my husband has been able to work from home for much of our married life, and I've been able to have my kids here with me, as well. We LOVE being together and sharing our home with others!

I left my job of 15 years on Dec. 30 to become a stay-at-home mom to my two little girls. Life Well Lived moments happen every day now for me, from pulling my girls around the block in a sled to taking them to the library. Even putting them to bed, which I rarely could do while I was working. I am blessed. Tired, but blessed.

A Life Well Lived Moment is when my husband and I do those small things for each other just for no other reason than "just because".

The best Life Well Lived moments come when you least expect them. Like when you tuck your child in and leave the room, then they call you back to say "I love You Mom".

Family dinners have always been a Life Well Lived moment. They are simple and small, but important and meaningful as well.

A Life Well Lived is so many things like knowing how to balance my time between what I need to do to live and what I live to do. And then there are those moments when I set it ALL aside for some one on one cuddle time with my boy who is nine. He's a busy boy ~ school, sports, friends, games. But he still wants to cuddle up with his mom each night and I'm taking full advantage of that!

A Life Well Lived moment for me is to work hard all week and savor the moments on the week-end, watching sports( esp if they are our children), music, hanging by the pool, spending times with friends.

It was just sort of simple but after dinner tonight my boyfriend banished me from the kitchen and told me to go take a bath. Hot water+epsom salts+ a great book = ahhhhh! He only lost points when he came in and took a photo of me in my pumpkin brightening face mask!
