Light at the End & Spoken Word
By tasteful on January 31, 2014
This week started roughly but it seems to be ending on a higher note. I won't say it's great, but I can almost, see the light at the end of the tunnel. One of my upcoming projects in my Multimedia class is pretty interesting. I do have to pull what I've learned from my other classes to make the project work, but I'm actually using one of my future business models in it. The combination of writing, photography, web design and animals of course. I wanted to flush this out in my spare time, and since I have none, this is a great opportunity. I know school is not always going to be interesting but this is only one of a few times that I've gone to class and have been excited about it.
Anyway I' working my butt off after school and on Saturday because I'm determined to have Sunday off. I need one day to breathe and not worry about what needs to be done. I might even go into the college on Saturday, if the weather isn't too bad, to do a little extra work. One of my professors has been kind enough to come in on Saturday for 2 hours to open up a lab and give help to anyone who needs it.
Tonight is also Spoken Word at the local art house. I will be going, although I'm pretty sure I won't be sharing any work. I can't tell you the last time that I wrote or edited a piece of writing. Which is one of the reasons why it's so important for me to get at least a day off from school work. The other creative parts of my life are suffering. Hopefully hearing other artists will give me the push that I need. Even a paragraph will do.
I hear many parts of Canada and the US are getting another dump of snow this weekend, stay safe. Have a great Friday and an awesome weekend!
Till next time,
