I'll be honest. I thought that I was going to be the one who would do the YouTube video where mascara is streaming down my cheeks and I'm crying to leave Sarah alone because she's just so awesome and you guys just are so mean and man, Chris Crocker is really emotionally draining to imitate. It must suck being him, and not just because of that haircut he clearly received from the Hair Cuttery. But, Lilo -- who I haven't talked about since she spiraled into possible drug addiction and apparent lesbianishism and I kind of missed her -- was totally the one who got to it first.
I've been watching the news all morning, like everyone else - and i keep hearing about the issues related to 'teen pregnancy'- It's all related to Sarah Palin and her 17 year old unmarried pregnant daughter. Well, I think the real problem comes from the fact that we are taking the focus off of getting to know Sarah Palin and her political views, and what she can do to make our country a less destructive place. Its distracting from the real issues, the real everyday problems that this country experiences.
You tell them, Lilo. Hell, I take back what I said about you being totally untalented and a potential sign that this world is quickly coming to an end (though I still refuse to take back my suggestion that you should really wear pants more often -- and no, leggings do not qualify as pants), but only because this is so much better than what Diddy -- largely believed to be the go-to voice in our culture for all things vote or die related -- managed to eek out.
Now, I've never done an exit question before, but I think this begs an exit question. Does Lindsay Lohan get so close to the mark because she's an outsider? Or am I refreshed by this dose of honesty from a celebrity because this political campaign has descended so far into the surreal that I can't tell what is decent and what is just pure crap anymore? I mean, for heaven's sake, this is not the first but the second piece of celebrity twit trash (Paris' video being the first) that I am able to praise as having (1) more substance than an entire month of Obama speeches and (2) stuff on it that I may have actually written about on my own blog.
I think the world really may be ending.
