There is a three foot pile of papers, books, bookmarks and information goodness buried on my bed. (Hey, I found a wrapped cookie!) A clear sign it is time for a little serendipity. I plunge into the center and pull out...a Nanotechnology catalog.  Oh my.

Renovation-palooza continues at my house. This past weekend saw us hanging sheet rock on the ceiling of our empty kitchen. Yes, this is as exciting as my life is. Don't be jealous. It also saw me cooking every single meal on the grill. Which I will be doing for the foreseeable future.

A recent survey conducted by Consumer Reports says that motorists are feeling the pain at the pump, and it is impacting their lifestyles and shaping future car buying habits. The "Auto Pulse" survey revealed some very interesting answers.

I cannot get this news out of my thoughts today -- Joseph Dwyer is dead. He killed himself. He was a decorated veteran of the Iraq war, an Army medic. He had PTSD. He is the latest announced casualty of war-related Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
