A little less pain, still no gain

So here I am, three weeks in & I'm feeling pretty good!

I had a setback last week. I was busy with work. The kids were sick. I had to drag myself to training, hating the thought of it. Then hating the hour of it. But driving home was quite satsifying! It was over, yes!

I was pleased that I managed to overcome my exercise barriers. Usually I would have succumbed to the forces that be, convincing myself that yes, you're way too busy to leave the house for an hour. Yes, the kids are way to sick for you to leave them with Dad. I like to think that I'm strengthening my willpower as well as my muscles.

I still haven't noticed much physical improvement, no surprises there. But my fitness level is getting better. I'm running faster and less like an 'old granny' as my husband put it. Slow and steady wins the race I tell him. ;)
