A Little Party Never Killed Nobody
By ToptoBottom on December 30, 2013
The year is coming to a close and what better way to celebrate than partying till the clock strikes twelve??? We here, at T2B, know how to throw a good party, but what does make a good party are the details you put into it. Little things really do go along way. New Years Eve is a great excuse to dress up, drink up, and dance the night away!
When people walk into your event, you want them to have “wow” moment. You can really transform any room with this easy balloon banner backdrop. Take any color helium filled balloons with a string (typical New Year’ss colors are: black, gold, and white) then tape balloon string at different heights to create a balloon backdrop. This can be used to cover up another room, you don’t want your guest to go in or to provide a place where people can take photos.
Speaking of photos…these easy to make photo props are another way to keep your guests engaged and having a good time. Who doesn’t like a fun photo booth where you can let loose and be silly. There are plenty of templates you can use online. You will need printable construction paper, glitter paper, wooden sticks (you can use kebab skewers), scissors, and a hot glue gun.
Who wants confetti all over their floor? Some may, but we certainly don’t want one more thing to clean! Before the clock strikes twelve pass out some sparklers to light up the New Year. They are so fun and very easy to toss out.
For any of you out there who doesn’t mind a little mess and love a good drink, a champagne tower is almost necessary. There is something about a champagne tower that makes you feel glamorous! So, stack up your cups and pour it on! Here is a tutorial on how to achieve this awe factor!
Speaking of champagne, here is a very easy DIY craft to jazz up your alcoholic beverage bottles. Take multipurpose adhesive spray on the glass and then toss on glitter. Let the glitter rest for a minute then shake off onto paper so you can reuse the excess glitter. This really adds a extra glitz and glam to your beverage bar.
Lastly, there is nothing more important than your holiday host/hostess outfit. Here are a couple fabulous outfits to help you ring in the New Year:
We hope everyone has a fun, safe and happy new Year! Love you all! XOXO~ T2B
