After the flood here in Tennessee, Doug found a kitten looking confused and running around in the muck. She let him pick her up, and we brought her in. She's been purring ever since. We will be staying with a friend soon while we look for a different place to live, and adding to our pet party is not really appropriate at the moment.
The kitten is definitely a girl, has been pleasant with our other cats and does not seem too bothered by our large dog. I would guess that she is somewhere between 14 and 16 weeks old. For what she's been through, she looks to be in good shape. There are a few bug bites around her head that seem to be healing. Her personality seems very laid back and gentle, and she likes to be held and petted. She is using litter of course.
