Live-blogging and learning at BlogHer Entrepreneurs ’12!
By leapingwoman on March 21, 2012
My first BlogHer conference was a virtual one; I attended in SecondLife. Tomorrow I finally make it to a face-to-face event. I've volunteered to live-blog at BlogHer Entrepreneurs ’12 and I'm really excited! I'm going to cover three sessions:
- On Thursday morning BlogHer co-founder Lisa Stone moderates a panel of keynote speaker Brad Feld with Heidi Roizen and Danielle Naftulin. They'll discuss how you and your potential investors assign value to your company or idea in The Valuation [How to Understand Your Value].
- In a Friday lunch keynote, BlogHer co-founder Elisa Camahort Page moderates as Pengiun Group editors Brooke Carey, Laura Perciasepe and Ginny Smith help you answer the question Do You Have a Business Book in You?
- On Friday afternoon, Lisa Stone moderates a discussion with Lila Ibrahim, Rachel Pike, and Amy Chang on how to communicate in language that gets your message through to venture capitalists and senior executives. I'm particularly looking forward to this session, Business Leadership: C-Suite Language.
So look for my posts when the live blogs go up, and look for my tweets throughout the conference at @leapingwoman.
