I've been with my boyfriend for two years now and recently went away to school in New Hampshire. Being in a long distance relationship has been one of the hardest things that I've ever had to do but I do not regret my decision. For one, it has allowed me to focus on the most important things, like my education. However, my boyfriend said something not too long ago that left me thinking. He told me that being in a long distance relationship has taught him "to live without me". WHOA.
I was in awe over the fact that he couldn't "live without me" (although, I'm sure his feelings were not this extreme) before but mostly, I was just offended. This led me to thinking, are long distance relationships feasible or are they just risky business?
