VP, Emerging Brands - Food Category at Scripps Networks Digital
As VP, Emerging Brands at Scripps Networks Digital, Mark Levine leads digital initiatives including web and mobile for Cooking Channel, Food.com and Food2.com. Levine started at Scripps in 2008 when he launched Food2 from inception and then did the same with CookingChannelTV.com in 2010. He added Food.com to his roster in 2011 which is currently the largest user-contributed recipe site in the country.
Prior to Scripps, Levine was Director of Digital Strategy at the SyFy Channel and before that he oversaw digital for The View, ABC Daytime and SOAPnet in Los Angeles. Levine began his career in digital entertainment by launching and monetizing various products for Sony Digital (including a pre-iTunes, video download service featuring day & date television content).
Before his digital career, Levine was VP, Feature Development for producers, Lisa Henson and Janet Yang, at Columbia Pictures where he worked on The People vs. Larry Flynt, Gattaca, and High Crimes.
