I've been loving maxis this summer. Maxi skirts and maxi dresses have been my go-tos. Comfortable and easy to wear, I've been rocking the maxi for work and play.
But the fall is nearly upon us...how can I wear my beloved long outfits when the temperature drops?
Below, three maxis and how to make the most of them for cooler days.
The classic strapless maxi dress. Fun and flirty for summer, but with a long open cardigan and a pair of great wedges it's ready for September. Throw on a belt, chunky necklace and an armful of bangles for a more pulled together look.
The slouchy maxi-tee dress. Perfect for your kid's afternoon activities. Tie a knot at the bottom/side and wear flats or chunky boots, add a bulky patterned cardigan or poncho and cinch it at the waist with a fun belt. Bring some color into the mix with a warm scarf. Cozy!
A great tank-top maxi dress can work until November when you add a denim jacket and a long patterned scarf. Belted or not, this outfit works in the office or out to dinner. Don't forget a great statement necklace to dress it up a bit!
I hope I've given you some inspiration to keep rocking the maxi into the fall!
