I'd really like to participate in this conversation. I had an interesting time talking to the people at the McDonald's booth at BlogHer10 and was surprised to see how many lower calorie offerings there are. That being said, I'm still worried about things that don't have to do with calories (like additives, food safety, etc.). It would be nice to get information on those topics as well, since today's moms are thinking about the broader picture of where the food is coming from and what is in it, as well as how fattening it is.

Favorite menu item - the Egg McMuffin. Take off the top english muffin and it's actually a very diet-friendly (and delicious) breakfast!

I would like to hear more about healthy menu options and combinations. I really enjoyed the McDonald's booth at BlogHer '10, especially the chance to learn how many menu items are below 600 calories. Would really love more info like this, especially as a mom and someone who is trying to make smarter food choices. I'd also like to learn more about what McDonald's is doing to support local communities and causes, such as the battle against childhood obesity. My favorite menu item is the Apple Dippers. Love them and they're great on the go.

I would like to hear more about the healthy options available and more marketing focused on those items. Also what McDonald's has planned for health and wellness in the future. Favorite item: McVeggie Burger where not available Fish Filet (only fish item).

I would love to share the challenges we face in our family regarding meals, and I would love to hear what other moms have to say.

Favorite McDonald's menu item? A plain cheeseburger

And YAY for healthier happy meals. LOVE it!

Honestly, one of the main reason I want to attend is because I think this is the greatest "event" title I have seen. I love "Leading by Listening" as a life motto not just a session name. If we all did that, business and life would be so much smoother! I'd love to hear what Jan Fields has to say about it. (And, McDonald's was my first job as a teen.)

My favorite menu item? A splurge, the fries. A treat is the yogurt parfait.

I'd love to attend to learn about better choices for my nephews and nieces as like me, they adore McDonald's !

My favorite item has always been the fries, but the fruit and maple oatmeal is quickly becoming it's competition!

McDonald's is a memory of great food and times throughout my life. Would love to discuss nutritional menu items so I eat better than I normally do when I go!

Favorite food is freshly made french fries

I went to McDonalds as a child, took my children and now take my grandson. I would love to hear the discussion on healthy eating for the entire family. I appreciate the healthy options such as milk and apple slices.

My favorite McDonald's menu item is the McRib (but don't tell anyone).

I would love to attend and share ideas on how to make some of the offerings a little healthier. I admit, the Quarter Pounder with Cheese, no onions has been my all-time fave burger all my life. I would like to see sweet potato fries on the menu!

I would like to attend since I love the healthy menu options Mc Donald's now offers. Like I am obsessed with the parfaits and strawberry lemonade's!

My favorite menu item will always be chicken Mc Nuggets. I've always loved them since I was a child and they are my guilty pleasure food. I break them in half just so I feel like I have more than just six pieces!

Thanks so much for this amazing event and opportunity.

I'd be interested in hearing this because I think McDonalds has transformed their menu to include so many great+ healthy choices.
My favorite is the Bacon Ranch Salad with Grilled Chicken. The coffee is pretty good too.
It's great to know that you can get a quick, inexpensive and healthy choice when traveling or dining out anytime.
Thanks MickeyDees :)

I would love to attend this luncheon! I have 3 kids under 5 and write for several websites on health and fitness subjects. I absolutely love that McDonald's is changing the Happy Meals and I'd be interested to hear what else is coming up on the healthy eating front.

My favorite item is simple...an ice cream cone. It was a big treat for me as a kid and is still one of my not-so-guilty pleasures.

I love cooking but I love McDonald's even more. If I could eat a Chipotle Snack Wrap every day I would, heck, who am I kidding? I pretty much do!
My daughter loves your menu and I feel guilt free taking her now since you are cutting down the portion size of the fries. She usually asks for the apples anyway. I would LOVE to attend this luncheon!

So happy the meals are cutting back on the fries/salt and automatically are offering apples! The menu continues to improve, I love this direction!

When it comes to cooking, I would rather eat out any day! Unfortunately, we can't afford it. That's why to us even going to McDonald's is a treat for the girls! McDonald's of course is thier favorite place to go to because of the play area. I love it because, not only can you can eat healthy for a reasonable price, but it is a great place to let the kids get their energy out. I would love the chance to voice my opinions and ideas, as a mother, women, and hamburger lover! Love those Big Mac's. =P

I'm a mom of triplets plus one more all born within a year that's also trying to juggle mommy blogging and working as a social media strategist. So I really need help, LOL, on many levels.

I have so much to learn from Jan Fields, who sounds like just the inspiration I need to get to the next level in balancing family and work in perfect harmony. I'm also very into healthful eating for kids and would love to learn more about the healthy direction McDonalds is taking with the menu. The title on the event Leading by Listening, is absolutely intriguing to me, too.

I love my McNugget meal (with a coke)! Also, I was addicted to crispy ranch chicken snack wraps when I was pregnant.

I'd love to hear about how McDonalds can offer healthier versions of nuggets and the ability to swap out french fries for something even more healthy on the adult meals to make it easier for mom's on the go, to get healthy food fast (and lose a little bit of the baby weight too).

I'll be at BlogHer '11 with Sweet Chili sauce packets as my business cards. Seriously. :)

As someone who suffers from severe food allergies, and having a child with severe food allergies, I would love to see some allergen-free food options. Eating out is nearly impossible with food allergies, but there are some companies who make a genuine effort to accommodate us, and our loyalty to them is unwavering. Our favorite menu item is the apple snackers.

I love McDonald's, but definitely feel a sense of guilt when taking my children to eat there. I think there is a stigma against parents who feed their children McDonald's and I don't really appreciate the looks and reactions that I get when I mention we ate there. Bottom line is, my kids are picky eaters and I would rather them eat food than not:) I do appreciate the effort that McDonald's has made to provide healthier options. It makes me feel better about eating there and taking my kids to eat there.

I would really enjoy attending this session at BlogHer next week!

As others have said, McDonald's does bring up fond childhood memories and I love they are adding more healthy items to the menu. As a strict gluten free household, our only trips to McDonalds are first thing in the morning on a sat/sun to have a parfait (minus granola, of course). Then, let the boys play at the playground while my husband & I enjoy a latte. As a result, I would love to discuss ways to include those with food restrictions.

I think there are a variety of great items on the McDonald's menu. I think too many people still equate fast food, particularly McD's, with unhealthy. If you are making smart choices it can be just as healthy as something you are fixing at home.

Favorite menu item: McCafe Mocha

I love the "healthier" options that they offer kids such as the apple dippers and juice. I would like to talk to them about adding more more options to kids choices and adding options similar to the kids meals to adult combos.

McDonald's means nostalgia for me. When I was little, it was the place my parents picked up lunch after a special weekend movie or outing to the museum. For fancier affairs, we often attended Hamburger University near our home. That informal or formal nosh was always memorable and always included family. Now, both my kiddos love the occasional trip through the drive-thru - it's vintage feelings gone mod!

Nutritionally speaking, I'd love to learn more about ingredients and dispel myths floating around in the food world about the dangers of fast food. Everything in moderation is key.

My fave menu item is the McDouble on the dollar menu. My kidlets love the four-piece chicken nuggets!

I think the biggest challenge is dealing with the looks when you say you took your kids to McDonalds. The organization has come, and is coming a long way, to offer healthy options and the word (and mission) need to be broadcasted more. (Fabulous title by the way.)

My favorite splurge menu item are the fries of course!
