About McDonald’s New National Fundraiser for RMHC

McDonald’s new national fundraiser for RMHC is part of our ongoing commitment to RMHC and their mission to support children’s health and well-being. Starting this summer, and for the first time, McDonald’s will donate proceeds from each Happy Meal® and Mighty Kids Meal® sold to RMHC every day. The new national fundraiser joins a host of efforts by McDonald’s to raise funds and awareness for the Charity, including in-restaurant RMHC Donation Boxes and the annual “Give A Hand®” fundraiser  – all small gestures that add up to make a big difference for families in need. Last year, RMHC Donation Boxes at McDonald’s restaurants in the U.S. raised nearly $20 million for local RMHC Chapters. Learn more here.

In celebration of the new fundraiser, families can participate in the new “Family Time. Happy Time.” campaign. This shareable, online campaign encourages family togetherness by inviting families to pledge time together. For every minute pledged, McDonald’s will donate one penny to RMHC with a goal of reaching 1 million minutes and $10,000 to donate toward family time activities for RMHC guests.
